About us

A small team, ten European destinations, and one rule — never sell a day we would not want ourselves.

What we do

We arrange the villa and everything that goes around it, across ten European destinations: a house, a quinta, a masseria or a chalet worth the week, then a private boat day, a chef at your own table, wine country, a private day out with a local guide, and the car from the airport. All of it is confirmed directly with the local people who deliver it. One message covers the whole trip. A real person reads it, asks the right people what is actually available on your dates, and comes back with honest options.

Why this exists

Booking a good day abroad is still oddly hard. The search results are dominated by resellers listing the same handful of products, the photographs are years old, the availability is provisional, and the person you are emailing has never seen the boat. Meanwhile the best skipper in the harbour has a website from a decade ago and answers the phone at lunchtime.

Our job is to sit between those two facts. We do the finding, the asking and the arranging, and we tell you the things a listing will not: which week is better, when the crowds arrive, which departure point suits your group, and when the honest answer is that you should not book at all.

What we are not

We are not a boat company, a ski school, a guiding company, a caterer or a taxi firm, and we neither own nor let the houses we find for you. We do not own vehicles, employ instructors or run trips. Every day we arrange is delivered by an independent local business holding the registration, licence or professional certification its own country requires — maritime tourism registration, the regional register for mountain and ski professionals, national guiding qualifications, private-hire licensing. We introduce you and we stay your point of contact; the day itself belongs to them.

We are also not a checkout. There is no basket, no instant confirmation and no price we invented. You are quoted what the local business charges for your dates, with their terms attached, and nothing is booked until you say so.

How we choose the destinations

Slowly, and in waves. A destination opens here only once the groundwork behind it is done: real research into departure points, seasons, routes and rules; real relationships with the businesses that will fulfil the days; and a check that everything we intend to publish about the place is something we can stand behind. Where a fact is uncertain, we would rather leave it off the page than put a confident number on it.

The standard we hold ourselves to

Honest ranges rather than precise-sounding prices we cannot support. Plain statements about weather, seasons and difficulty, including when they rule a day out. Specifics instead of adjectives. And a willingness to talk you out of something — because the only version of this business worth running is the one people recommend to their friends.
